Megami Maids is a Texas-based Maid Cafe group that started in 2020! The founding maids had years of experience working at Maid Cafes all over Texas before branching out and becoming an independent group. Megami Maids aim to provide an authentic Maid Cafe experience through their pop-ups, performances, and customer interactions.

Maid cafés (Japanese: メイド喫茶 or メイドカフェ, Hepburn: meido kissa or meido kafe) are a subcategory of cosplay restaurants found predominantly in Japan. In these cafés, waitresses, dressed in maid costumes, act as servants, and treat customers as masters (and mistresses) in a private home, rather than as café patrons. They have also expanded overseas to countries including China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and the United States.
